Milling and turning in one machine: TILTENTA MILLTURN.

With the TILTENTA MILLTURN, HEDELIUS is expanding its machine portfolio with a milling/turning machining centre that consistently combines milling and turning in a single solution for the first time. The machine enables complete processing of complex workpieces in just one clamping operation, creating a continuous machining process without the need to change machines.

This simplifies production processes, reduces tooling times and makes machining more efficient overall. At the same time, the stable workpiece position ensures high accuracy and reproducible results throughout the entire process. With this new product, HEDELIUS offers a future-proof solution for companies that want to open up their production to a new level.

The TILTENTA MILLTURN was presented live under chip for the first time at the HEDELIUS in-house exhibition 2026. Interested parties have the opportunity to close the solution in person at the HEDELIUS technology centre at any time. The concept: Milling and turning in just one clamping operation

  • NC rotary table Ø 900 mm

  • Rotary function rotary table up to 500 min-¹

  • Collision area diameter Ø 1250 mm

  • Workpiece weight up to 1.200 kg

  • Combination of 5-axis milling and integrated turning

  • Swivelling area up to ±98° for maximum flexibility

  • Powerful spindle with up to 15.000 min-¹ and 50 kW

Advantages of combined milling and turning.

The combination of milling and turning in one machine opens up new possibilities in the processing of complex workpieces. Processes can be structured more clearly and several work steps can be efficiently combined. This not only results in shorter lead times, but also more stable processes in production. The TILTENTA MILLTURN consistently utilises this principle and offers the right technical basis for this.

Complete processing in one clamping operation

Machining takes place entirely in just one clamping operation. This eliminates the need for repeated clamping operations, which shortens lead times and improves accuracy. The workpiece remains in a stable position throughout the entire process, resulting in consistently high component quality.

Continuous process through milling and turning

Milling and turning operations are combined in one machine and interlock seamlessly. Machining steps that are otherwise distributed across several machines are carried out in one continuous process. This simplifies production and reduces the organisational effort in production.

Designed for high-torque workpieces

The integrated NC rotary table is specially designed for machining large and rotationally symmetrical components. High lifting capacity, precise positioning and a powerful torque drive enable stable turning processes even for demanding applications.

More news.

In modern CNC production, no two jobs are the same: Today prismatic 3-axis machining, tomorrow complex 5-axis components and then the machining of shafts, tubes or mouldings. With the FORTE 65 with rotating/swivelling table, HEDELIUS offers a machining centre that adapts quickly and efficiently to changing requirements for maximum productivity and safety.

The GEWO Feinmechanik GmbH & Co. KG relies on the 3-axis machining centre FORTE 85 Single 1620 from HEDELIUS for the production of high-precision components. The decisive factors for the investment were the high machine stability, the large Y travel path and the compact design of the CNC milling machine. In daily use, the FORTE 85 impresses with its precise machining results, high level of user-friendliness and economical production, even with difficult-to-machine materials. GEWO also reports productivity increases of 15 to 20 per cent and emphasises the partnership-based cooperation with HEDELIUS.

With the TILTENTA MILLTURN, HEDELIUS is opening a milling and turning machining centre on the market for the first time that combines both machining steps in one machine, thus enabling a continuous manufacturing process. Instead of having to reclamp workpieces several times or switch between different machines, the entire machining process takes place in one stable clamping, which simplifies processes and reduces sources of error. Find out how the concept works in detail, what possibilities arise in practice and for which applications the MILLTURN is particularly suitable.
